Specialized Care for Early Memory Loss

Terrace Club is a new senior living option for those experiencing early memory loss. Research* shows that special diet, brain-healthy and memory-enhancing activities and the camaraderie of others can delay the progression of memory loss. Programming is designed to focus on residents’ personal interests and life experiences, with an emphasis on promoting both cognitive and physical stimulation.

Activities to encourage resident and family-member engagement

Terrace Club activities may include outdoor walks, line dancing, foreign language classes, computer classes and other brain-aerobic and fitness programs designed to stimulate the brain. Residents are encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings and record their memories through daily journaling, creative scrapbooking, cassette tapes and collage making.

Dining that keeps the mind healthy

In the Terrace Club, a family-like atmosphere; companionship with friends; and nutritious, brain-healthy meals come together to create enjoyable mealtimes for residents. Meals focus on foods that are proven to have protective effects on the brain and promote overall good health.
